Background

Art and Melissa Sable, owners of the Manor House Estate, moved back to Art’s hometown of Hammondsport in 2012 from Baltimore, MD.  At that point, they purchased the 5,000sf home at 9180 County Route 76, Hammondsport, NY (Manor House Estate) as their primary residence with the vision of ultimately converting into the premier wedding destination of the Finger Lakes.  The Sables lived in the home for four years while renovating and upgrading the property throughout.  The property was converted to a year-round rental in 2016 when the Sables purchased their current residence a few miles down the road.  In addition to the home upgrades, the Sable’s developed the adjacent land into an event center.

Art Sable is one of 6 children, all of which currently reside in the Keuka Lake region.  The very close Sable family owns and operates Harbor Lights Marina and The Waterfront Restaurant, both located on the west side of Keuka.  Including extended family, there are about 40 of them that all reside locally!

Dr. Melissa A. Sable was raised in northern Ohio with her parents that currently reside in Sandusky…famous for Cedar Point amusement park.  She plays an integral role in the wedding and rental property operations when not actively working as a psychologist.
